Setup Zoho Mail on iPhone – Configure your Zoho Mail account 

At first, you will need to do a few settings on your Zoho Mail account. Here are the steps to be followed.

 

1.      Launch Zoho Mail.

2.      Login to your Zoho Mail account.

3.      Go to the Settings menu.

4.      Click Mail accounts and select Email forwarding and POP/IMAP.

5.      Choose an option to enable IMAP.

Method 1. Configure IMAP server on iPhone



 

IMAP stands for Internet Message Access Protocol that allows an iPhone user to view and retrieve the messages from the Zoho email server. Here is what you need to do for IMAP settings on your iPhone.

 

1.      Connect your iPhone to the internet.

2.      Click the Settings icon on your iPhone.

3.      Now go to Accounts and Passwords and click the Add Account button.

4.      From the list, choose Other and after that, you will have to Add Email Account.

5.      Now put in your personal information like your Name, your Zoho Mail email address, password, and a short description.

6.      Click the Next button.

7.      Further, you will need to provide an Application Specific Password to configure an account (if two-factor authentication is enabled).

8.      Make sure to select IMAP as an account type (Go to method 2 to configure as POP).

9.      Now into the following details in Incoming Mail Server on your iPhone.

·         Email address – Your complete Zoho Mail email address i.e., username@zoho.com.

·         Password – Enter your correct Zoho Mail password.

·         Incoming mail server name – imap.zoho.in.

·         Incoming port number – 993.

·         Secure connection SSL – Yes.

 

10.  Enter the below details for the Outgoing Mail Server.

·         Email address – Your complete Zoho Mail email address i.e., username@zoho.com.

·         Password – Enter your correct Zoho Mail password.

·         Incoming mail server name – smtp.zoho.in.

·         Incoming port number – 465.

·         Secure connection SSL – Yes.

 

11.  Once you enter all these details your iPhone should connect to the Zoho IMAP server. To configure POP head over to the next section.

 

Method 2. Configure POP server on iPhone


Pop or Post Office Protocol retrieves the email from the Zoho server to a single device and then removes the mail from the server. It is a one-way email retrieval system. Here are the steps to configure email.         

 

1.      Open the web browser, log in to your Zoho Mail account.

2.      Go to the Settings menu and click Mail accounts.

3.      Choose the option of POP access.

4.      Further, you will be given two options to enable POP - Emails that arrive from now and All emails.

5.      If you want only the new emails should be downloaded to the POP client then choose the option Emails that arrive from now. Once you choose this option, you will receive an email only after you enable POP access.

6.      And, if you want all emails to be received to the POP client, then choose the All emails option. Once done, the Post Office Protocol will download all the emails on the iPhone.

7.      Here are the POP configuration details (Incoming server) that you need to enter on your iPhone.

·         Email address – Enter your complete Zoho Mail account email address.

·         Password – Enter your correct Zoho Mail password.

·         Incoming server name – pop.zoho.in.

·         Port number – 995.

·         SSL required – Yes.

·         Username – username@zoho.com.

 

8.      Now follow the below Outgoing server POP configuration details.

·         Email address – Enter your complete Zoho Mail account email address.

·         Password – Enter your correct Zoho Mail password.

·         Incoming server name – smtp.zoho.in.

·         Port number – 465, SSL or 587, TLS.

·         SSL required – Yes.

·         Username – username@zoho.com.

 

Yay! Great. You have successfully entered all the details for the Zoho email setup on your iPhone. Now you should access all your emails on Zoho on your iPhone.
